And this is my website.
THE EASIEST WAY TO TURN YOUR COMIC BOOK COLLECTION INTO CASH!
And this is my website.
Reach out to me. You can message me directly on Facebook by clicking the link below or you can text me directly on my cell at (219) 257-3021. Either one gets right to my phone.
Now that we have made the connection, it's time to build value in your collection. Tell me all about it and please start with your most valuable comics. If you don't know which ones are the most valuable, that's ok. It helps a lot, but it's not necessary. I always want to know how many comics are there and how are they being stored. For example, you may say something like this to start the conversation:
"I have about 3,000 comics in 12 long boxes. They are almost all bagged and boarded. Mostly Marvel, but a lot of Batman mixed in. My best ones are the first appearance of Punisher graded by CGC at 8.5 and an ungraded beat up copy of the original Daredevil #1. I also have the full Web of Spider-Man series."
Feel free to send me as many pictures as you like, but I would never ask someone to take pictures of every comic they have. I always encourage people to fan out comics so I can see many comics in one picture if you're trying to show me many comics at once. If you're sending me messages on Facebook, you can also send videos and even spreadsheets using the paperclip attachment on Facebook Messenger just like you would attach something in an email.
After determining a general value of the collection, I can meet with you to purchase your comics in a few different ways. If you are within 3-4 hours of the Chicagoland area, I can drive to you no problem. If you would prefer to drive to me, I don't have a physical storefront, but I meet people at the Walgreens by my house in Northwest Indiana. If you are outside of that 4 hour radius area, I might still be interested in buying your collection, but now the deal is going to incur some heavy traveling costs. When we meet in person, I'll pay out cash on the spot.
OR
If you like, you can just mail me your collection:

Once I receive your comics, I'll sort through them and take a general inventory. Please don't forget to include your name, address and phone number with the comics. After I complete the inventory, I'll mail you back a check. I will NOT be mailing back comics. This is a great option for anyone anywhere to cash out their comics with no hassle, but please don't send in all your comics expecting a check back for full retail on every single one. As always, if you are looking for top dollar for your comics, you should sell them all yourself individually. But if you want to sell them all at once, I'm your guy. I love comics, I'm easy to deal with and I pay out better than the average comic book store. I don't have near their overhead.
Yes. It is. I'm a real guy. My name is Steve.
I used to have a six figure corporate job, but when my son was four years old, his mom and I split up and my schedule got used against me. Fast forward a few years and I'm living the dream because of this business. I have joint custody with 50/50 time. I coach my son's baseball and I take him to karate every week. I still put in tons of hours, but with this business I have the flexibility to get most of my work done either when I'm not with him or after he goes to sleep at night. I've been buying comic book collections since I was a kid so I've been a fan of comics for over 30 years. Now my inner child runs a business that supports my real child.
I'm a CGC dealer. I send off the very best in collections to get graded then just about everything ends up sold on eBay. I've been a top rated seller for years and I'm in the global shipping program. So there's a chance that your comics will be further enjoyed by comic book fans all over the planet.
Ah, the question that has been plaguing this business for decades. Here is the answer:
Yes, some comics are very valuable and there is money to be made in the comic book business. However, there are also costs of selling and those costs are higher now than ever. What many people don't realize is that the store or dealer buying your collection has to pay taxes, shipping, selling fees, payment fees, packaging, storage, marketing, etc. Also, don't forget about insurance, fraud, grading fees, etc. PLUS I'm sure you can imagine the dealer or store owner would like to make some money for their time and investment. You'd be surprised how hard it is to turn a profit and pay yourself $15/hour on the average comic book collection.
Honestly though, if you are REALLY focused on getting the very top dollar for your comics, then you should sell them all individually yourself, but do not forget about taxes.
